Skinners' Amusements

Skinners' Amusements Inc/DRS Skinners' Amustements Inc. originated in Crystal Lake, IL in 1910 by Doug Skinner's grandfather George Skinner.

Skinners' provide complete carnival midway rides, food, games and any requirement items to complete a midway.

Our route consists of Illinois events only. We are forty milers in the industry as we return home nightly and our route consists of locations in Lake County, McHenry County, Boone County, Winnebago County and Ogle County.

All locations are sponsored. Sponsors are County Fairs, Chamber of Commerce, Lions Club, Fire Departments, Jaycees, Company Picnics, and Churches. We promote community events to promote community projects and fundraisers.

Midway News

For our 100th year, DRS Skinners' Amusements Inc. will be adding the spectacular "Rimx" thrill ride, a ride that all patrons will enjoy. A "Lolly Swing Ride" as well - that is a great ride. Two new games for the midway will be a fun time - "Watergame" and a tremendous Skeeball game.

With all these additions the midway will have additional excitement for all.
